Jon Morse, Sr.
NLP Practitioner/Coach/Mentor/Trainer
With over 30 years of experience in mindset coaching and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Jon has helped individuals take control of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
As a certified Master Practitioner of NLP, his work focuses on creating real, lasting change—without requiring people to relive the past or unpack every detail.
Through coaching, training, and speaking, he has worked with a wide range of clients—from individuals seeking personal growth to professionals looking to improve performance under pressure.
He has also applied this work in the world of sports as a basketball shooting coach, helping athletes rewire fear, anxiety, and self-doubt so they can perform freely and confidently under pressure.
He’s even helped individuals eliminate fears such as spiders and crossing bridges.
His approach is simple, practical, and results-focused:
helping people change how they respond, so they can change their experience of life.
A teacher I was working with shared that she had an upcoming trip to San Francisco—but instead of being excited, I immediately saw her body language & facial expression become one of fear and anxiety.
She explained that she HATED going over high bridges, and that she would become so overwhelmed that she would physically drop down onto the floorboard of the car. She was totally incapacitated until they reached the downtown area.
I asked her if she’d be open to trying a simple process to change that response, so she would never have to experience that again. She said yes.
In a short session, I guided her through an NLP process that deleted her negative experience and replaced it with a normal non-threatening reaction to driving over one of the many bridges in San Francisco. At the end of the session, when I asked her to think about the negative experience of driving over the bridge, she was unable to retrieve it. I was very confident she had rewired her reaction to driving over high bridges.
After her trip, she came back and told me she that her old behavioral response to high bridges did not happen anymore, and she had a great time driving all over San Francisco.
The response that once felt automatic…was simply gone.
A teacher I worked with once shared that his wife was preparing to take her final exam to become a pharmacist. She had already taken it twice and hadn’t passed—and if she didn’t pass this time, she would be dropped from the program.
He explained that she had studied extensively, but when it came time to take the test, she would freeze up due to anxiety.
A few days before the exam, I worked with her using a simple NLP process to shift her response to the testing situation—eliminating all negative feelings and mind pictures of her failing the exam.
A few weeks later, her husband came back to me with the news: she had passed the exam and officially became a pharmacist!
The knowledge was always there—once the response changed, her performance followed.
This situation is a perfect example of how this work can not only impact the individual, but also dramatically impact their family & friends.
Not only was she now employed with a great salary, her husband was able to quit his teaching job and stay home with the kids.
